What we’ve designed is a highly-available, VXLAN-based tunnel deployment that allows you to extend VLANs across any geographic boundary from a single point of management. We did this by building on our fabric capabilities that treat all switches as part of the same logical management domain. Doing so makes deployment and configuration of all data center sites and tunnels extremely simple.
The same L2, L3 and application visibility features that are present in our software today are still there and are now able to be applied to this tunneled traffic across multiple sites.
Even further, our award-winning Insight AnalyticsTM product works with these new capabilities, enabling you to extend business context tagging to site-to-site traffic in the same dashboard.
