Ram Bhide Appointed Vice President of Engineering

PALO ALTO, CaliforniaOctober 28Pluribus Networks, the company that brings the power of virtualization to the network, today announced it has appointed Ram Bhide as the organization’s vice president of engineering. The role will see Bhide managing and directing corporate engineering for the company through strategic planning, product design, quality assurance and all customer-facings aspects of the product life-cycle.

Bhide brings significant technical and executive management experience to Pluribus Networks, having spent 20 years with Cisco Systems. His most recent role was Vice President of Engineering overseeing their enterprise routing solutions. Prior to that, he was responsible for delivering many of the company’s most popular switching and routing solutions, including the Catalyst 6800 family and ISR/ASR series of LAN and WAN products.
