Pluribus Networks Honored with Three Industry Awards for Its SDN Technology, Channel Strategy and Industry Achievements

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jul 22, 2014 — Pluribus Networks, the company that brings together compute, network, storage and virtualization into a single, open and programmable SDN platform, announced today that it is the recipient of three industry awards honoring the company’s technology and achievements. The company has been recently named one of the 2014 CRN Emerging Vendors , AlwaysOn Global 250 Top Private Companies and Lead411 Hottest Silicon Valley Companies. These awards come on the heels of recent company announcements that expanded the Pluribus Server-Switch architectural benefits to the broader enterprise and cloud provider markets at white-box price-points .

“We are certainly honored to be the recipients of these industry awards less than six months after the company’s launch,” said Dave Ginsburg, Pluribus CMO. “First of all, it shows that the user challenges we are solving today in the networking market are real. Also, only a truly open, programmable network hypervisor that brings server virtualization to the network allows users to run their networks with a single point of contact instead of dealing separately with each piece of hardware throughout the network. I would also like to add that our channel partners have been incredibly responsive, because they see the immediate value for their customers, and we continue to sign more agreements, which we will announce soon.”

The annual CRN Emerging Vendors list identifies up-and-coming technology vendors that have introduced innovative new products, creating opportunities for channel partners in North America to create high-margin, cutting-edge solutions for their customers. Companies included in CRN’s 2014 Emerging Vendors list were founded in 2008 or later and are actively working with channel partners in North America. The list, along with information about each vendor, will be published in CRN’s August 2014 issue and will also be available online at www.crn.com. The AlwaysOn Global 250 winners were selected from among thousands of domestic and international technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists, and industry insiders.

The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous selection process to finalize the 2014 list: http://aonetwork.com/blogs/Announcing-the-2014-AlwaysOn-Global-250-Top-Private-Companies.

The “Hottest Silicon Valley Companies” List by Lead411 started with more than 1816 companies and it has been narrowed down to the top 87: http://www.lead411.com/awards/2014/silicon-valley.html.
