Kumar was VP/GM of HW Engineering for the Enterprise Networking Business at Cisco where he was responsible for the HW engineering execution of Cisco’s Enterprise Networking portfolio. Kumar brings 25 years of diverse leadership and operational experience in the technology industry that spans development, marketing, and engineering across computing, silicon and communications industries.

Sunay Tripathi was a Senior Distinguished Engineer for Sun Microsystems, and was the Chief Architect for Kernel/Network Virtualization in Core Solaris OS. Sunay has an extensive 20+ year software background, and was one of the top code contributors to Solaris. Sunay holds over 50 patents encompassing network and server virtualization.

Robert Drost was a Sr. Distinguished Engineer and Director of Advanced Hardware at Sun Microsystems. Robert has extensive hardware experience, including over 90 patents and a 17 year career in high-performance computing systems. Among other recognitions, Robert has been cited by MIT's Technology Review TR35 as most innovative computing technologist under age 35, and by the Wall Street Journal with a Gold Medal for Innovation in Computing Systems.

C.K. Ken Yang is a Tenured Professor of EE at UCLA (on sabbatical) with a focus on high-performance communication. Ken is a leading expert in digital communications, computing systems, and IC design. Ken brings 15 years of consulting, design, and research experience with the foremost companies in the electronics industry to Pluribus Networks as well as several key engagements with leading Hardware startups.

George de Urioste

Chief Financial Officer

George de Urioste’s career includes Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles for several companies, including Marvell Technology, Chordiant Software and Remedy Corporation. He has also been an active senior advisor to Ricoh and Arrayent. As CFO, Mr. de Urioste led Remedy through a highly successful IPO and continued expansion. He currently serves as Board Director and Audit Committee Chairman for Bridgelux, Inc. and Vendavo, Inc. and has past public company Board experience. His 30+ years of experience include serving as past President of Financial Executives International in Silicon Valley. George is also a CPA (inactive).

Alessandro Barbieri

Alessandro has over 17 years of engineering, technical marketing and product management experience in the networking industry. Prior to joining Pluribus, Alessandro served as the Director of Product Management for several of Cisco’s Data Center and Enterprise networking product lines, including the launch of the latest generation of Catalyst 6800 core switching platform. His specialties include Datacenter Networking and High-Speed Ethernet technologies, where he contributed in shaping the 40GbE and 100GbE IEEE standard. Alessandro’s main responsibilities at Pluribus include managing the Pluribus product portfolio and technical marketing activities.

Ram Bhide has been an engineering executive for more than 25 years in the networking industry. He has led software engineering teams of all sizes and is considered to be a change agent, raising the bar on engineering excellence and deep startegic planning. He had authored a number of US Patents regarding routing and switching, including distributed router forwarding, ACL/QoS, and aggregation, and has focused his professional career on the technologies of switching, cloud infrastructure, SDN/NFV and systems integration. Mr. Bhide has spent 20 years in a variety of executive positions with Cisco Systems, with the major of that tenor focused on layer 2 and layer 3 systems.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Pune, India.

Dirk brings over 20 years of experience building customer service and support organizations to his role of VP of Customer Advocacy at Pluribus Networks. Past positions have earned him recognition from the Technology Services Industry Associations (TSIA), Nemertes Research and a variety of other vendor and product services awards. Prior to Pluribus, Dirk built and developed services organizations at CacheFlow (Bluecoat Systems), Juniper Networks and Aruba Networks.

Steven brings more than 25 years of global technology, product, and marketing leadership experience with deep technology and architecture experience spanning networking, cybersecurity, application delivery, mobility, IT Operations Management, application and network performance management, and operational analytics. Steven is an accomplished technology evangelist and frequent speaker at industry events, and has held a variety of leadership positions at leading technology companies including, NetScout, Check Point Software Technologies, LiveAction, Alcatel-Lucent, Redback Networks, Cisco Systems, UB Networks and Fujitsu. Steven has served as a strategic advisor to several early stage venture backed technology companies, private equity and investment firms.

Prior to LiveAction, Mark served as Global Accounts Director at Juniper Networks for over 7 years.
